As people across the country prepare for Yuletide season, the Nigeria Customs Service, NCS, is warning the citizens against illicit trade and any illegal activity that constitutes economic sabotage to the nation.
The Customs National Public Relations Officer, DC Joseph Attah, said this in a message made available to Journalists.
He described smugglers as enemies of the nation and economic saboteurs.
His words, “Do not smuggle or patronise smugglers. They are enemies of the nation”.
He went on, “Avoid things that will negatively affect the security, economic and well being of the nation.”
DC Attah advised, “Support Customs on the on-going fight against smuggling.”
