N41bn revenue surplus: NAGAFF lauds Apapa Command *Calls for greater stakeholders’ collaboration in 2020

The Head of Special Duty, National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders, NAGAFF, Rev. Emma Agubanze has commended the Apapa Command of Nigeria Customs Service, NCS, for the whooping sum of over N413.7billion generated from January to December 19, 2019.
He gave this commendation in a press statement signed and made available to Financial Business News.
According to him, the leadership qualities of the Customs Area Controller, CAC, of Apapa Command, Comptroller Mohammed Abba-Kura, paved the way for the Command to meet and even surpassed its revenue target with surplus of over N41billion for the period under review.
His words: “Apapa Command breaks the records all the time with well over N400billion . The interesting thing here is the professional manner with which the Command achieves its revenue, trade facilitation and other functions.
“We note the existing industrial harmony and friendship between the Command and stakeholders in the maritime industry.
“We congratulate the officers and men of Apapa Command for their efforts to live up to expectations in a most friendly way.
“We hope other Commands will emulate the leadership qualities of Comptroller Abba-Kura and his team for their patriotism”.
He concluded, “On behalf of the Founder and entire members of NAGAFF, we commend the Command for a job well done. We hope their collaboration with stakeholders in the Port will continue in 2020”.
