The latest news reaching our online platform now revealed that the enforcement team of Customs at Seme border Command in collaboration with the Nigerian Navy and officials of Nigeria Immigration Service, just seized smugglers boat running aground at Seme beach.
Our correspondent gathered that the boat and jerrycans for smuggling Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), commonly known as petrol, were seized in large numbers.
More so, officers of Seme Customs Command and the sister agencies, who acted promptly, also recovered the floating jerrycans of PMS along the beach area of Seme, the border between Nigeria and Benin Republic.
Recall that this timely intervention is coming just a few days after the Customs Area Controller of Seme Command, Compt Dera Nnadi, mni, and his Men intercepted Cannabis Sativa worth over N10million at the same Command.
