Kano/Jigawa Customs formation as new Area Controller
In line with the recent deployment of Comptrollers by Nigeria Customs Service, NCS, the Kano/Jigawa Area Command received a new substantive Customs Area Controller (CAC), in the person of Compt. Sambo Kaliel Dangaladima.
The new CAC hails from Bagudo, Kebbi State. He is a graduate of the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.
The new Area Controller is a seasoned Customs officer with vast experience in Customs operations, having served in various units and Commands across the country.
In his maiden address to the officers, the CAC emphasised that the Command is poised to conduct its assigned responsibilities with discipline at all levels and also ensure border security and seamless facilitation of legitimate trade, in tandem with the Executive Order on the ease of doing business.
The new CAC assures that he will serve assiduously while increasing cooperation, collaboration, coordination and harmonious working relationships with other sister security agencies and relevant stakeholders.
Speaking further, he thanked the Comptroller General of Customs, Col Hameed Ibrahim Ali (Rtd) CFR and the entire management team for the opportunity to serve, as he restated his commitment to execute the core mandate of the Service by enforcing the policies of the Federal Government diligently.
Recall that Compt Dangaladima has just been posted from Murtala Muhammed Airport Command (MMAC), where he served as the Area Controller to Kano/Jigawa formation.
Just recently, he made seizures of Military wears and other security gadgets at the Airport.
