“The Eastern Zone is solidly behind Hon. Tony Iju Nwabunike led National Executive Committee and the Acting President, Dr Farinto Collins Kayode.

“We disassociate ourselves from any act that shows prejudice on the decisions of the National Executive Council and ANLCA SUPREME CONSTITUTION, as amended on December 16, 2020.”

It follows :  “Any action, appointment and directives by the erstwhile Board of Trustees, whose tenure elapsed by duration in February 2020 is null and void.

“Such action or inaction that is in aberration of elections, appointments and committees as stipulated in ANLCA’s Constitution is illegal within the tenets of Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents.”

The group emphasised :  “We made this release to guide the public on the misinformation trending on social media.”

In the same vein, the Acting National President of ANLCA, Dr. Kayode Farinto stated emphatically that there is no parallel Executive in the association.

Dr. Farinto also condemned the forceful entry into the national secretariat of the association by expelled members, while the National executives were on a national assignment to the Lekki Deep seaport.
