“I am assuming Nigerians that we are going to deliver the best service to our great nation.
“We have been well trained, equipped and given a platform to perform effectively.
“The Comptroller General of Nigeria Customs Service, CGC Hameed Ibrahim Ali and his entire management team have trusted us , so we are going to make them proud in carrying out our statutory functions diligently at all times’.
These were the assertions of Zonal Customs Public Relations Officer (PRO), CSC Nkeiru Nwala, in a chat with reporters after her decoration with a new rank, at the just concluded ceremony in Lagos.
Nwala, who was promoted from the rank of Superintendent of Customs (SC), to Chief Superintendent of Customs (CSC), pledged complete loyalty to the Nigeria Customs Service and the nation as a whole.
Speaking further, CSC Nwala known for hardwork and resilience applauded CGC Ali on his tremendous efforts in reforming and repositioning the Service for greater efficiency.
Also, she commended the Assistant Comptroller General of Customs in charge of Zone ‘A’ ACG Modupe Aremu (Mrs), for her exemplary leadership style in supervising activities within the Zone.
