The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has trained many intelligent Public Relations Officers across the country, SC Nkiru. Nwala, the Zonal Public Relations Officer of Customs in Zone ‘A is one of them.

SC Nwala is like a cynosure in Nigeria Customs Service. She is disciplined, thorough and diligent on her line of duty. She carries out her official duties with the highest level of professional finesse.

A recent example was the just concluded ceremony for 415 graduating Cadets of Nigeria Customs Service, which took place last week at Training College, Ikeja, Lagos.

That epoch making event, which brought together Customs Area Controllers (CACs) of various formations in Zone ‘A’;
top government functionaries from Nigeria Army, Air-Force, Immigration, DSS, Police, Civil Defense, Road Safety, Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), Nigerian Shippers’ Council and elites from the political class, was moderated by SC Nwala, the Customs Zonal PRO,
a thorough professional
known for hard work and resilience.

SC Nwala alongside Mr Abdullahi Lagos, another experienced Public Relations Officer of Customs anchored that special event successfully from the opening ceremony to the last item on the programme.

SC Nwala performed excellently in that important assignment.
Our Correspondent, who was on ground observed that she collected the microphone as the Special Guest of honour, ACG Modupe Aremu, the Zonal Coordinator of Customs in Zone ‘A’ stepped into the venue.

Nwala was very efficient in handling that assignment. She gave serious attention to all details of the programme starting from introduction of dignitaries to various segments covering practical display by graduating Cadets, awards presentations to outstanding Cadets and recognition of Customs Area Controllers who graced the occasion.

Standing all through, SC Nwala anchored that programme with a smiling face and so much energy.  Obviously, the Customs Zonal PRO has the capacity to handle multiple tasks accurately.

She is reliable and highly dependable in carrying out official duties at all times. Thus, her service to the Nigerian nation has not gone unnoticed.
Just few days ago, Nwala was honoured with a prestigious Award by MMS Plus Magazine, as one of the Amazons of our time.

Recall that SC Nwala has served Customs in various formations before being posted to the Zonal office, where she is currently coordinating activities of the Public Relations Unit effectively.  Before now, she served as PRO of Oyo/Osun Customs Command years back. Nwala also worked as PRO of Apapa Command, the premier port.

The case of SC Nwala is like when beauty meets intelligence. She is physically very attractive and a beauty to behold. She is intelligent but unassuming; pretty but humbled. She has passion for public service; and she is making Nigeria Customs proud in her area of responsibility.
