The just concluded Gala/Award night, organised by Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Lagos State Council, to mark its Press Week, was indeed fun filled evening.
It’s a night to remember.
The Gala night, just concluded a while ago, took place at Lagos Airport Hotel, Ikeja.
The prestigious event, which brought together top media professionals, government functionaries and stakeholders in the media industry, was a well thought-out initiative by Lagos NUJ Chairman, Mr Adeleye Ajayi and his Exco members.
In reality, the programme has come and gone, but the glitz, fun and moments of excitement will linger for long in the minds of Lagos Journalists.
The high point of the occasion was award presentations to Lagos State Governor, Speaker of Lagos State House of Assembly and outstanding media professionals.
Dignitaries, who attended the programme applauded Mr. Ajayi and his Exco members for making 2021 Lagos Press Week a remarkable occasion.
