SAL President felicitates with Muslim faithfuls on Sallah celebration
*Lauds NIMASA on deep blue project

The President, Shippers Association of Lagos State (SAL), Rev. Jonathan Nicol, is felicitating with the Muslim faithfuls on the occasion of Sallah celebration in the country.
The SAL President, who is a reputable stakeholder in the shipping sub-sector in Nigeria, expressed his heartfelt appreciation for his Muslim brothers and sisters nationwide, even as he described the Sallah celebration as a special occasion.
Rev Nicol, rejoices with the Muslims on Eid Mubarak celebration
through his goodwill message, made available to our Correspendent in Lagos.
His words: “Our dear Muslim families and friends, may ALLAH grant you the blessings inherent in the celebration of EID MUBARAK.
Happy celebration.
“We are one united family knitted together with different colours of Thread. May we find Peace and tranquility among us working together as one towards God’s pre-determined destiny. May Allah bless each one of you now and in the days ahead.”
Speaking further, Rev Nicol called on the Federal Government, maritime agencies and all relevant stakeholders to work collaboratively at ensuring that the shipping sub-sector is repositioned for greater growth.
He stressed that a lot of potentials abound in shipping business, if adequately harnessed, the shipping sub-sector can create jobs for many Nigerians to reduce the rising rate of unemployment in the country.
Rev Nicol, also commended the Director General, Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), Dr Bashir Jamoh, for working assiduously in tackling maritime insecurity within Nigerian waters and the Gulf of Guinea.
According to him, NIMASA’s Deep Blue Project is a good initiative and must be well implemented, in order to achieve the intended purpose.
