- Nets over N159.5bn revenue in first quarter
- Seizes 28 containers of contraband

The Customs Area Controller (CAC), of Apapa Command, Comptroller Yusuf Mallanta Ibrahim and his team generated over N159.6billion in the first quarter ofJanuary to March 2021.
The huge amount represents 44.8 percent increase in duty collection when compared to N110 billion realised the same period from January to March 2020.
Comptroller Mallanta, disclosed this to Reporters during a press conference in Lagos.
He said: “Between February and March 2021, the Command made significant seizures of 23 containers of various items, such as unregistered pharnaceuticals like tramadol/codeine, used clothes, rice, with Duty Paid Value (DPV) of N773.8million.
The total seizures from January to March 2021 stands at 28 containers, with DPV of N1.9billion.”
