Compt Ngozi hands over N49.2bn at Oyo, Osun Customs Command

The immediate past Customs Area Controller (CAC), Oyo/Osun Command of Nigeria Customs Service,
Comptroller Uche Ngozi has recorded remarkable achievement in revenue collection for the Federal Government within a short period of her stewardship at the Command.

Our Correspendent gathered from credible sources that Comptroller Ngozi generated a whopping sum of over N49.2billion into the coffers of government from February to November, 2020.

Our investigations also revealed that the revenue profile of Oyo/Osun Command as at November 2020, when she handed over the mantle of leadership to the new CAC, Abdulkadire A R, stood at N49.2billion, with extra N1billion.

That was not all. Comptroller Ngozi made indelible mark in anti-smuggling campaigns across the two states, up to the border communities between Nigeria and Benin Republic.

It is on record that Comptroller Ngozi is the first female CAC to embark on 8 hours operations in the forest area of the Command, combing the entire border communities of Kishi, Saki up to Odo.

Spectacular seizures made under her supervision include foreign rice with Duty Paid of over
