Comptroller Ndarni Joseph Dogara recently took over the Eastern Marine Command of Nigeria Customs Service, NCS, as the new Customs Area Controller, CAC.

As part of his strategies to ensure effectiveness in his operations, he embarked on a working tour of the out stations within his Command, even as he held meetings with relevant stakeholders in Port Harcourt.

Comptroller Ndarni’s working tour was a thought-out initiative, as he visited the Nigerian Navy forward operations at Ibaka, where he interacted with the Navy authority on greater synergy with his Command.

He also appreciated the Navy for working in close partnership with the Command for a common goal of curbing illicit trade.

The CAC proceeded to beach town of Ibaka area where maritime activities were going on under the supervision of Marine Customs, as well as other security agencies.

In the same vein, Comptroller Ndarni and his officers visited Calabar, in continuation of the familiarisation tour.

Addressing his officers during the tour, he called for increased performance, efficiency and professionalism at all times.

According to him, the Eastern Marine Command under his leadership will promote stronger working collaboration with relevant stakeholders and sister agencies in the area.
