Port Security: Police boss visits NAGAFF
*Seeks working collaboration

The Commissioner of Police, Port Command (Western), CP Cyril Okoro has called for effective working synergy with National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders, NAGAFF, and other relevant stakeholders in the maritime sector, in order to secure the Port for businesses to thrive.
The Port Police boss made this call during a working visit to NAGAFF head quarter at Apapa, Lagos, yesterday.
CP Okoro stressed that Port is the gate way to the nation’s economy, as such, adequate security is needed at all times.
He promised to ensure greater stakeholders’ collaboration in policing the Port more effectively.
Speaking further, he expressed great pleasure on efforts by NAGAFF in maintaining a cordial working relationship with the Port Police Command.
CP Okoro also promised to ensure that their working synergy with NAGAFF, as a critical stakeholder in the Port becomes stronger.
In his response, the Founder of NAGAFF, Dr Boniface Aniebonam, thanked the CP and his team for the visit.
He assured him of the readiness by NAGAFF to support the Command always, even as he pointed out the importance of community policing to the nation.
The climax of the visit was the breaking of kolanut by NAGAFF.
