Elder Eyo Inuekim bags prestigious Knight of John Wesley Award

It was a moment of honour and recognition, as Elder Eyo  Inuekim, an Assistant Comptroller of Customs received the prestigious ‘Knight of John Wesley Award’ (KJW), from Methodist Church of Nigeria

The honour was bestowed on Eyo, who is an Elder in the Church, along with other awardees, for their consistency in serving the Church.

Speaking during the conferment, the Preacher, Rev. Daniel Agbese, described Eyo and other recipients of KJW honour, as hard working, discipline and known for humanitarian work.

His assertion, “We are conferring this honour on deserving Methodists for their consistency in serving the Church and humanity, which have not gone un-noticed.  They have served at various capacities, such as Circuit Stewards, Sunday School Teachers and other committees”.

In the same vein, Customs officers and members of Akwa Ibom State community in Lagos, who turned out in large number to witness the programme, showered encomiums on Eyo, describing him as an officer, who is hard working and highly committed in serving the Nigerian nation, as well as humanity.  Top government functionaries, members of Fortune Club International and their Associates, as well as Oron Union group graced the occasion.
