Niger/Kwara/Kogi Customs Get New Boss

The Nigeria Customs Service,NCS, Niger/Kwara/Kogi Command now has a new Customs Area Controller, CAC, in person of Comptroller Abba-Kaseem Yusuf.
Comptroller Abba-Kaseem, a native of Kaduna State, took over from Comptroller Binga Bemjamin, who was redeployed to NCS, Zone ‘A’ Enforcement Office in Lagos State, following the recent posting of Controllers released by the Customs Headquarters in Abuja.
At a brief handing over ceremony held at the Command, Binga appealed to officers and men of the Command to extend the same support and cooperation he enjoyed to his successor.
Meanwhile Comptroller Yusuf has reported in the Command as the new CAC. Before his recent posting, he was in charge of Kano/Jigawa Area Command.
He told officers at the Command that his intention was to consolidate on the achievements of his predecessor.
According to him, “We have to intensify efforts to collect maximum revenue and suppress smuggling to the barest minimum. My predecessor has done a great job and I intend to do even more”.
The CAC urged all officers to ensure transparency and professionalism while discharging their responsibilities. He also warned that any act of negative conduct among officers would not be tolerated.
