Nigerian stock exchange sets for biggest market data day in West Africa

…Focuses on digitisation, financial inclusion

The Nigerian Stock Exchange has concluded plans to hold the third edition of the biggest Market Data Day event in West Africa.

Over the past two editions, the event has attracted over 1,000 participants across all stakeholders in the Financial Market, as well as several world class speakers and panelists including representatives from government agencies, African Exchanges, Financial Market Intermediaries, Telecommunications and FinTech industry

The past events also featured on leading regional and domestic media channels all over Africa.

The theme for 2018 edition is: ‘Digitisation, Disruption and Financial Inclusion’.

This event would hold at the Civic Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos on Friday, October 19, 2018 by 8:00 a.m.

In today’s capital market eco-system, digitisation is fast gaining momentum. Purpose built solutions are being developed to reduce redundancies, cut costs and increase efficiencies for greater customer outreach.

This event would address issues on the potential impact of disruptive technologies and provide awareness of the critical role of Market Data as a fundamental ingredient to the success of the capital market.
