Nigerian stock exchange sets for capital market security forum

The Nigerian Stock Exchange, NSE, has concluded plans to host the ‘6th Nigerian capital market information security forum, slated for tomorrow Wednesday, July 25, 2018 in Lagos.
The programme with the theme, ‘Social engineering; the neglected human factor’ would feature panel discussion, speeches and presentations by the Chief Executive Officer, CEO, of FPG Technologies, among other important issues.
Topics to be covered include ‘Reverse social engineering attacks in online social networks, Evolution of Cybercrime, the present, future social engineering attacks and prevention, plans for countering Cyber threats in the Nigerian capital market.
Commenting on the forum, the Head, Information security, Mrs. Favour Femi-Oyewole said that with the growing use of technologies and digital tools in the capital market, creating awareness and educating individuals, as well as companies on the significance of information security management have become critical in addressing today’s constantly evolving Cyber threats in the system.
