Nigerian Shippers’ Council donates bus to NMLA

The Nigerian Shippers’ Council ,NSC, has donated Innoson IVM 5000 18-seater bus to Nigeria Maritime Law Association ,NMLA, in order to support the association, as one of the stakeholders in the maritime sector of the economy.
The Executive Secretary and Chief Executive Officer, CEO, of the Council, Mr. Hassan Bello while handing over the key of the vehicle to the Secretary of NMLA, said the donation was in fulfillment of NSC Corporate Social Responsibility, CSR, and the need to support its critical stakeholders in the maritime industry for greater productivity.
The Council boss enjoined the association to ensure judicious use of the donated vehicle.
In his response, the Secretary of NMLA, Mr. EmekaAkagbogu, while receiving the key of the bus from NSC boss, expressed profound appreciation to the Council’s Management for providing logistics support to the association. He assured the management of NSC of robust working synergy with NMLA.
It would be recalled that the Council had earlier donated a Toyota Hilux to the Maritime Police Command, to aid their operations at the ports.
