Photo news showing activities of the Federal Operations Unit ,FOU, Zone ‘A’ of Nigeria Customs Service, NCS, within just three weeks, (From April 10, to May 15, 2018). The Unit recorded massive seizures of prohibited items with a Duty Paid Value of over N1billion.
The Unit also made underpayments recovery of N28.8million. Within the same period, even as its enforcement team arrested 14 suspects in connection with 125 seizures. FOU Zone ‘A’ equally impounded 30 exotic vehicles, which include seven Toyota Hilux (2018 models); three Toyota Prado Jeep (2017 models), one Range Rover, one Ford Edge (2015 model).
Two containers with numbers MSKU130295/2 and MRKU877714/0, attracting DPV of over N25 million were also seized for false deceleration by FOU zone ‘A’”.
