Entrepreneurship: Total to sponsor training of 25 youths

In line with the policy of the Federal Government to promote entrepreneurship for optimum economic growth, TOTAL E&P Nig. Ltd has concluded plans to sponsor skill acquisition training designed for 25 youths in the country.
According to the statement signed by Toncia Energy Consulting & Professional Services Ltd, the organisers of the training and made available to Financial Business, the trainees are drawn from North Central Geo-political zones (Middle Belt) comprising of Kogi, Benue, Plateau, Nasarawa, Kwara and Niger States.
The programme, which has a duration of two weeks will focus on skill areas such as solar/inverter production as well as installation, paint manufacturing and PC hardware repairs/principles behind the construction of hardware.
The training programme will commence on April 16, 2018, at the auditorium of Global Distance Learning Institute, located at Central Business Area, Abuja. It will climax with award of certificates of proficiency and starter packs to all the participants, on April 27, 2018.
Financial Business learnt that Toncia Energy Consulting & Professional Services Ltd has engaged experienced resource persons carefully selected from Water Clark Nigeria Ltd, Global Distance Learning Institutes (GDLI) and other organisations to impact positively on the trainees.
Accordingly, Toncia Energy Consulting & Professional Services Ltd has organised similar training also sponsored by TOTAL E&P Nig. Ltd, for participants in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja, and hopes to do same, to the participants from other geo-political zones of Nigeria in the future.
Moreso, prominent personalities from the National Assembly, Total E&P Nig. Ltd, entrepreneurship agencies, government agencies and other stakeholders will witness the opening and closing ceremonies.
