Azubuike begins consolidation campaign,  promises capacity building

As the electioneering process of National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders  ,NAGAFF, heats up at various chapters, the immediate past Chairman of Tincan Island chapter, High Chief Azubuike Austin Ekweozor has flagged off his re-election campaign, tagged,  ‘Consolidation Campaign’   in  grand style.

The event, which brought together notable freight forwarders, friends and associates of the Chairman saw the High Chief restating his commitment to continue in  rebranding  the chapter that he started in his first tenure.

Chief Azubuike also promised to work assiduously with other executives to ensure capacity building, aims at achieving human capital development for all members of the chapter.  “If elected, capacity building will be my first priority.  We will make sure members availability are encouraged to take up professional courses in line with cargo clearing and freight forwarding procedures like what obtains in global trend,” he stated.

Azubuike while speaking to a large crowd of supporters at the occasion said,  “I was encouraged to join NAGAFF, Tincan chapter politics by the founder of the association, Chief Dr. Boniface Aniebonam and the then President, Chief Eugene Nweke, as an administrator to rescue the chapter, which was at the verge of total collapse, due to various allegations against some members of the then executive.  Since then I have lived up to expectation  by working with the executives in repositioning the chapter  to an enviable position it is today”.

“I am calling on all our supporters and those who believe in our consolidation agenda to ensure they register for the on-going process at NAGAFF head quarters, to be able to vote for us on the election day”.

Some of the dignitaries present at the occasion were the Chairman, Tincan Chapter, Association of Nigeria Licensed Customs Agent ,ANLCA, Prince Segun Oduntun, who made it known that since Ekweozor became the Chairman of NAGAFF Tincan chapter, there has been cordial relationship  between  his association and NAGAFF.  He called on members to go all out on the election day to return Azubuike, for him to continue the good works he started.
