Maritime stakeholders drum support for Okoror-Obi

Stakeholders and Senior Journalists in the maritime industry have called on all freight forwarders, importers and agents doing business in Nigerian ports to support the emergence of Forwarder Kenneth Okoro-Obi, as the new Chairman, National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF), Tincan Island Chapter.
While many maritime industry players described Okoro-Obi as epitome of hardwork, others called him a dynamic and charismatic leader.
In a chat with Financial Business & Maritime News, the Publisher, Prestige Blended Magazine, Mr. McAnthony Onuoha said, Okoro-Obi is the best aspirant for the position.
His assertion: “When we are talking about important leadership position, we must always go for the best. This is the only way we can move associations, organisations and Nigeria as a country forward.
“Going through the track record of Okoro-Obi, he is the most competent person to lead this group. It is very obvious. If you are looking at experience, he has it. When talking about integrity, his is very honest. He relates well with people. Human relations is an important quality in leadership, because a leader should be able to carry his people along”.
