ANLCA’s visit to Apapa Customs Command a huge success- Says National President, Hon Tony Nwabunike

The National President, Association of Nigeria Licenced Customs Agents (ANLCA), Hon Tony Iju Nwabunike, has described the working visit by his team to Apapa Command of Nigeria Customs Service, as a huge success.

He made this assertion in a chat with our Correspondent.

Hon Nwabunike explained that the working visit was imperative to formally introduce newly elected officials of Apapa chapter of ANLCA to the Customs Area Controller (CAC), who just assumed office.

He stressed that the visit was carried out to foster a cordial working synergy between ANLCA and the Command.

According to him, as Licenced Customs Agents, ANLCA needs a good working partnership with Apapa Customs Command to enhance trade facilitation and seamless cargo clearance from the premier port.

During the visit, Hon Nwabunike described Comptroller Ibrahim Yusuf Malant, as experienced Customs officer, even as he expressed the readiness of ANLCA to ensure a good working relationship with the Command.

In his response, Comptroller Malanta assured that the Command will give ANLCA full administrative support, in order to enhance trade facilitation and more revenue collection for economic growth.

ANLCA officials in the company of Hon Nwabunike, were Chairman of Apapa chapter; Sylvester Budu; Kayode Jejeloye – Vice Chairman; Razaq Ishola, Secretary and Lawrence Uba, Assistant Secretary;
Nnammocha Joseph, Financial Secretary, Hakeem Olodan, Treasurer and Emeka Mbachu, Public Relations Officer.
